Short Bio

​

Soul Joke is a very diverse rock/metal band based out of southern Missouri.  We are an very dedicated band, given our location, which isn't very supportive of our genre of music. Because of this, we have traveled over state lines for shows, going so far as the Chicago suburbs to play. Our musical influences are very diverse, which cause us to have a unique sound and to be spontaneous on our song writing ability. No two of our original songs sound the same, and that's our goal. We strive to be different in a music scene that is quickly becoming copy and paste from the last band with a formula written out for every song. If you want something that's heavy, has a punch/bite to it, but can also get you to groove, we are the band for you. We have a demo coming soon, so stay tuned!
